IT Specialist – Network Infrastructure & Cyber Security

We are currently seeking an IT Specialist with strong expertise in network operations, cyber security, and system maintenance to support and further develop our remote access infrastructure and customer support systems. As our customers operate critical infrastructure across the globe, ensuring secure and reliable systems is essential. About the Role
You’ll be joining our Global Configuration Team, a dynamic group of 19 IT-Specialists, architects, and back-office professionals. While the team is primarily based in Denmark, we also have colleagues in Canada, the UAE, France, and Australia.

We’re looking for a conceptual thinker who is passionate, collaborative, and service-minded. You should be comfortable working across a wide range of technologies and supporting customer-facing teams. The ideal candidate will have a background in network operations, infrastructure and server management domains and cyber security.

Responsibilities

• Enhance our remote support infrastructure with a focus on availability, usability, and security
• Set up, maintain, and improve remote access platforms and customer connections
• Deliver IT service to our customer (Patching, updates, configuration changes)
• Provide expert advice and support on cyber security-related issues
• Assist our Hotline and Monitoring Center teams with remote support infrastructure queries
• Travel up to 20 days per year to visit customers and BEUMER Group offices worldwide

Your Profile
You are an experienced and curious IT professional with a strong focus on cyber security. You bring solid experience in network operations, backed by relevant education, training, and certifications.

We also expect you to have:

• Practical experience with firewalls, switches, routers, authentication mechanisms, encryption, and device hardening (Cisco and Palo Alto)
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools
• Knowledge of common security standards and frameworks
• Experience with Windows Server environments
• Infrastructure and server management

Personal Attributes
You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English, Danish is a plus but not required. You thrive in cross-functional teams, take ownership, and enjoy working in an environment that values long-term solutions and world-class execution.
