About the Role:

We are seeking an exceptional Lead AI Platform & Solutions Engineer to drive the creation and implementation of transformative AI capabilities within our global logistics enterprise. This is a pivotal opportunity to leverage cutting-edge advancements in AI to develop robust, scalable, and intelligent platforms and solutions that will redefine our operational efficiency and decision-making processes. You will not be building foundational AI models (such as LLMs) from scratch, but rather expertly integrating and orchestrating best-in-class AI services and technologies available in the industry to solve complex, real-world logistics challenges.

What You'll Do:

• Architect and Implement AI Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of enterprise-grade AI platforms and solutions that leverage existing AI models and services to address critical business needs across our vast logistics network. This includes automating complex processes, enabling real-time decision-making, and continuously optimizing operations.

• Strategic AI Integration: Identify, evaluate, and integrate leading AI technologies and platforms (e.g., advanced LLM APIs, multi-agent frameworks, specialized AI services) to build comprehensive and high-impact solutions.

• Platform Development: Spearhead the development of our internal AI platform, focusing on creating robust infrastructure for data ingestion, model orchestration, performance monitoring, and secure deployment of AI-powered applications.

• Solution Delivery: Drive the end-to-end development and deployment of AI-driven solutions, ensuring they meet enterprise-grade reliability, security, and scalability standards within our demanding industrial environment.

• Cross-functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with product, operations, cybersecurity, and other cross-functional teams to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business objectives and seamlessly integrated into our existing ecosystem.

• Technical Vision & Roadmap: Define technical roadmaps and architectural decisions for our AI platform and solution development, ensuring alignment with industry best practices for leveraging external AI capabilities.

• Performance and Evaluation: Establish and implement comprehensive evaluation frameworks and metrics to assess the performance, reliability, and business impact of implemented AI solutions.

Who You Are:

You are a seasoned AI leader with a pragmatic approach, passionate about applying existing advanced AI technologies to solve complex industrial problems. You have a deep understanding of the AI landscape and a proven track record of successfully integrating and deploying AI solutions at scale.

Required Qualifications:

• Technical Expertise:
  

• Advanced degree (Ph.D. or Master's) in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field, with a minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in AI/ML engineering.

• Demonstrated expertise in leveraging and integrating large language models (LLMs) and other pre-trained AI services from leading providers (e.g., OpenAI, Google Cloud AI, AWS AI/ML services) for practical applications.

• Strong understanding of multi-agent systems and distributed AI architectures, with experience in orchestrating and managing interactions between various AI components.

• Proficiency in modern AI/ML frameworks and tools such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, LangGraph or similar, with a focus on their application in building end-to-end solutions.

• Expert level programming skills in Python, C# or similar.

• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) for scalable AI deployment.

• Experience with API integration, data pipelines, and MLOps practices for deploying and managing AI solutions in production.

• Leadership and Management Experience:
  

• Minimum 5+ years of technical leadership experience, including leading teams of senior engineers and driving complex initiatives.

• Proven track record of building and scaling AI engineering teams while maintaining high performance and technical excellence.

• Experience leading cross-functional collaboration in enterprise environments.

• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver measurable business impact through AI solutions.
