Your Role
We are seeking a Cloud Data Architect to lead the design and evolution of our modern cloud data platform, primarily leveraging Azure and Databricks. You'll take the lead on defining the technical blueprint for Nuuday’s cloud data platform. You’ll work across both new and legacy environments and help set the direction for architecture, migration, and decommissioning.
Your Responsibilities:

• Define the architecture for Nuuday’s cloud data platform, focusing on Azure and Databricks
• Set clear direction for decommissioning legacy systems in a secure and efficient way
• Ensure that security and governance are key considerations in every layer of the platform’s architecture
• Collaborate with stakeholders across Data Platform, Data Product, and external vendors
• Contribute hands-on when needed, especially in relation to architecture, automation, and cloud-native design

We Imagine That You:

• Have solid experience with cloud platforms, especially Azure and Databricks
• Have worked with designing and implementing modern data architecture
• Understand both modern and legacy systems – and how to bridge them
• Have a strong grasp of cloud security and compliance principles
• Are used to collaborating with both internal and external teams in large-scale transformations
• Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
