VMware Operations Specialist
You will look after daily operations, find sustainable solutions to incidents and problems and develop new solutions for optimal operations of the VM hosts in Denmark data centre. You will work on all this with your Chinese and Danish colleagues.
Your work is informed by your deep insight in VMWare, V-Sphere, Hyper-V technologies and extended to Clouds technology and your passion for increasing your specialisation further.
Focus on operations
In particular, you will look after operations for existing clients. You have knowledge of many of the technologies and areas we work with:
1. 3 years experience on VMWare, vSphere Operation and design. ( VCP is a plus )
2. P2V experience
3. Experience on Windows platform operations
4. Knowledge of HP hardware ( Blade infrastructure )
5. Knowledge of storage and network infrastructure.
6. Knowledge of competing hypervisor products ( E.G XenServer and Hyper-V )
7. Ability of English communication both in oral and written
8. Quality oriented
9. Able to work independently. Proactive in identifying own tasks.
10. In good health condition.
You understand clients’ needs and are prepared to give them exceptional service. In other words, you deliver quality that lives up to the agreed deadlines and objectives — and are willing to take the initiative to identify problems and tasks and get them solved and completed.
You keep a comprehensive overview of all jobs coming to the department, and each month you report to management regarding our key performance indicators.

You have a relevant IT bachelor degree combined with at least 3 years' experience with MS Windows Server and MS technologies and relevant courses and certifications.
You will be customer-oriented and self-driven on your daily work.
It is important that you can work in different shifts and can accept the training abroad.
In addition, you can communicate well and precisely in English, both written and spoken.

Hvilke fejl begår kandidater ofte i ansøgninger?
Mange fokuserer for meget på, hvorfor stillingen er interessant for ansøgeren – og ikke hvorfor ansøgeren er interessant i stillingen. Det er selvfølgelig dejligt med en motiveret medarbejder, men vi er i første omgang mere interesserede i, hvorfor du er den oplagte kandidat til stillingen. Og så er der jo klassikeren med standardansøgninger, hvor ansøgeren ikke har fået fjernet navnet på den forrige virksomhed, de har søgt hos. Det er en sikker måde at blive diskvalificeret på.
