The objective is to deliver high quality 24/7 operations and projects to demanding customers.
NNIT is looking for an Infrastructure Service Manager who will be part of the Operations Architects team and has work experience from an IT service provider or large enterprise infrastructure. The ideal candidate enjoys ensuring IT stability and participating in minor projects for NNIT’s existing and new customers, has strong communication skills, is a true team player with a commitment to success, and will be able to thrive in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
As the customers’ primary contact when it comes to technical infrastructure inquiries, you’ll be responsible for the technical part of the customers IT operations by ensuring that we adhere to the contract terms, SLA’s, KPI’s and that improvements and service changes are implemented. This includes:
• Act as the customers sparring partner when it comes to their current IT Operation, their future IT operations and new technologies.
• Responsibility for the following ITIL processes: Availability, Capacity, Business Continuity and Problem Management.
• Coordination of technical activities across NNIT service lines to optimize and manage the customers infrastructure
• Planning the development of the IT infrastructure and applications to support the customers’ business requirements
• Developing and delivering reoccurring reports from various sources to our customers on availability, capacity and IT continuity
• Produce, test and maintain technical design specifications and recovery plans
• Ensure a consistent and reliable performance of the infrastructure to deliver the
• required level of service to the business of the customer
• Embracing a broad spectrum of technologies to be able to deliver the best service possible
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to create relationships with team of specialists from various disciplines and ensure aligned deliverables
• Facilitate and drive the problem management process by involving and coordinating across NNIT service lines
• Compose and present root cause analysis and preventive actions in a structured manner for internal and external stakeholders on identified problems
Furthermore, in smaller projects you will act as technical Project Manager.
You will join our Service Delivery Team
Our service delivery teams are organized around our customers so you will join a team focusing on one big customer or a couple of smaller customers. The team is responsible for fulfilling the following roles: Incident, Change, Problem and Service Request Management and is led by a Service Delivery Manager supported by the Operations Architect. You are the member of the team that is technically updated with the customers IT-infrastructure landscape and in sync with the more technical aspect of the contract.
The Infrastructure Service Manager has a thorough understanding of the IT infrastructure service stack provided by NNIT and the dependencies and correlations between these services. Also is concerned with the design of services to assure manageability of infrastructure and applications used by the customer. It is important to assure that documentation and controls regarding Availability, Capacity and Business Continuity Management are defined, measureable and in place as well as agreed with NNIT service owners and the customer before a new solution is set into production.

Your qualifications and experience
You thrive in a busy, highly professional environment and have a systematic and focused approach to your tasks. You make things happen through other people and do not mind taking the initiative and getting your hands “dirty”. The operation architect is a key role in the service delivery team and you need to be robust and good at independently prioritizing your work.
You have a broad knowledge of operational technologies such as Windows and servers, Active Directory, database technologies, virtualization and network. You have solid experience with ensuring the availability, capacity and continuity of IT Operations.
Good communication skills in English is required in your work with both internal IT specialists as well as customers. You must be able to communicate complex technical issues to management and other stakeholders.
