Are you a Bachelor or Master Student, that likes to work with data analysis and are looking for practical experience in manufacturing environment in Novo Nordisk? Then you might be the new Intern we are looking for in DFP (Diabetes Finished Products) QA Hillerød.

About the department
Management of quality has always played a key role in Novo Nordisk’s success. A large part of our business and a huge number of processes are devoted to ensuring that our product specifications stay within very narrowly defined limits. Quality is created and maintained in every link of the production chain and in domains ranging from the production of active pharmaceutical ingredients, to the transportation or storage of medical devices, to packing material.

Our department works to ensure the quality and compliance levels in the most automated production plant in Novo Nordisk - DFP Hillerød. We are 35 very engaged employees in the quality organisation, supporting operations of Assembly and Packaging of insulin and GLP1 devices.

The position
You will become well acquainted with some of our key activities and will be an integrated part of the department from day one, helping us to deal with some of the tasks that need to be done on an everyday basis. Along with being responsible for development tasks and some of our standard reporting processes, you will have the opportunity to drive a “Lean focused” improvement project. This project will allow you to create a real, positive change in the company based on your interests, competencies and education plan.

As an intern, you will have regularly one-on-one meetings with your manager. These sessions will not only help you find your way around the department and your tasks during the internship, but also educate you and develop your professional abilities in the processes and framework of a regulated industry like Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will develop your future career skills throughout your internship with opportunities to enrol in different kinds of activities and courses. Novo Nordisk also has a large student community within which you can expand your network and meet similarly passionate interns and students.

  • Internship period: 6 months
  • Working hours: Minimum 24 hours per week
  • Start Date: 01 October 2019
  • Salary: Internships are remunerated, if your educational track allows
  • A Danish full-time work permit is required

We are looking for three interns who are passionate about combining business with quality and regulatory compliance. You may be studying within Health and Medical Sciences, Pharma, Engineering, Business or an entirely different field. Most importantly you share our passion for quality management and are keen to acquire professional competencies and learn the tricks of the trade.

You are well organised, independent, and have a good analytical sense. We expect you to have a certain flair for systems and process optimisation and some experience with group project work. You are ambitious and ready to be part of our on-going effort to improve our high standards, including ensuring that new ways of working are implemented smoothly. You are a responsible, outgoing person with a strong work ethic. You approach your tasks meticulously, and you are attracted by the opportunity to use your quality management skills in the ever changing and complex working environment. The position requires proficiency in English.
