As Vice President of Strategy & Transformation you have an incredible opportunity to join one of the world’s leading toy brands and use your talents to solve complex strategic challenges, develop the future direction for the LEGO Group and lead a dynamic team - which will help us safeguard and future proof our brand.

Based in our head office in Denmark, you will be responsible for leading a department known as the “strategy and transformation powerhouse” of the LEGO Group. With a team of roughly 35 passionate professionals sitting within strategy development, business development, project & change management and program management you will work across the entire value chain of TLG.

As Vice President you will act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner to our CEO and Executive Leadership Team with the focus to develop and execute the group´s strategic agenda and organizational development initiatives. In doing so, you will:

• Be recognized as a strategic advisor and credible partner to our most senior leaders
• Bring synthesized data and insights to the table to provoke and help shape long term thinking and direction setting
• Lead critical projects including scoping, analysis and development of recommendations, independently or in close collaboration with internal partners and/or external consultants
• Lead a large network of internal partners involved in cross-organizational projects – both with project management as well as change management focus
• Oversee and report on all projects across TLG and be central part of the yearly planning and fund release process
• Provide direction and development to your direct reports to ensure they are motivated and engaged

What will you bring in your toolbox?
• Hold an MBA or a master´s degree in economics, finance or similar from top tier university with excellent results
• Deep experience from one of the leading global management consultancy
• Experienced people leader with a proven track record of leading, motivating, and developing diverse talents.
• Executive level communication skills, an open mind and ability work across many markets and organizational levels
• A strategic mind-set coupled with outstanding quantitative and analytical skills that allow you to extract logic, insights and meaningful conclusions from complex business problems
• Easily shift between abstract strategic discussions and operational details to be able to deliver on your targets and development criteria
• Ability to lead a broad and global agenda, with an ability to prioritize numerous tasks and responsibilities simultaneously in an ever-changing environment
• An ability to navigate in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
• Proficient in English both written and spoken
• Experience in an internal strategy department or line function within FMCG and/or Retail as a plus (but not a must)
• Would be a plus to have experience in the business ie a non-consulting role.
