Stanley Black & Decker supports the accelerated development of early career professionals — and right now we are looking for two Sales Coordinators to join our KAM team!

Key Tasks and Responsibilities

The overall tasks for the Sales Coordinator are to support the local Key Account Team and KAM Director in the day-to-day business and in addition bring own experience into the role to further develop and continuously improve the company’s sales process.

As Sales Coordinator you have an important role within the business, you will take an active part in the sales process from planning to follow up, to ensure best practise and quality. To be successful in this role you need to be a highly proactive person who will make sure to be involved in the day-to-day business together with the KAM team. As you will need to analyse sales information and statistics, it is important that you have an analytical mindset and love to structure your work in a methodical way.

The role as Sales Coordinator involves many points of contact, both internally and externally. The person in this role needs to be a team player who can communicate effectively and make sure the right information is communicated in time. The Sales Coordinator should also be involved in the improvement of the KAM function and therefore be a problem-solver who is able to come up with new ideas and solutions to different challenges.

The tasks involve, but are not limited to:

  • Taking part of Key Account meetings external and internal together with KAM team
  • Maintain customer’s assortment in spreadsheet
  • Manage, organise and update relevant data using database applications
  • Analyse financial statistics and other data and produce relevant reports
  • Create presentations and other internal/external sales communication material
  • Assist KAM in campaign work – ensure correct order/pricing in SAP, Salesforce forecast updates, Sales Sheets, follow up on sales + profitability.
  • Coordinate campaigns and other activities together with other departments
  • Support managers to improve and follow up on the sales process
  • Support selected key customers with prices, images, information material etc.
  • Financial support to KAM team – margin improvement, product mix, analysis of action bullets
  • Assist in setting up meetings, conferences and project team activities

  • Understand the sales process from planning to follow up
  • Have a good understanding of/and the ability to analyse sales data
  • Have a sales-oriented mindset
  • Have good communication, planning and presentation skills

Formal Qualifications

  • Degree level qualification within Economy, Sales, Business/Admin or equivalent
  • Danish and English language skills, high level
  • IT skills: Office-package with good skills in Power point and Excel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and SAP desirable
  • Previous experience from a similar role is desirable

Other information

Occasional traveling is required within this role, drivers’ licence is therefore needed.
This role is a full-time position and located in our office in Albertslund, just outside Copenhagen.
