Design Assistant (Intern)
BIG is looking for talented architecture students who are eager to learn and develop their skills as Design Assistants (Interns) in our NYC office in early 2023.
Requirements:
- Must be an architecture student with at least 2 years of school experience
- Skilled in AutoCAD, Rhino, Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and physical modelmaking
- A flexible attitude towards new ways of working
- Ability to take initiative in response to direction or instructions
- Great interpersonal communication skills
- Available for at least 6 months
- Candidates with a graduate degree are ineligible; candidates with a B.Arch who are not currently enrolled in a graduate program are also ineligible
Compensation for Design Assistants is $15 per hour, plus overtime. Design Assistants are also eligible for BIG's competitive benefits package.
