Your mission
As our new Analytics Technical Consultant, you will join our Data & Analytics team in Kongens Lyngby, Denmark. Here, you will support the wider business to integrate data sets across teams in cloud data solutions to enrich our single customer view, analyse our customers in a deeper way and power segmentation for marketing activation.

More specifically, you will:

  • Own our tag management system (Google Tag Manager) and the deployment of analytics, testing, personalisation and functional tags/scripts across our digital properties including websites, single page applications and mobile apps.
  • Gather business requirements from key client stakeholders and translate these into technical tracking specifications based on standards and industry best practice.
  • Manage the end-to-end process implementing these requirements working directly with Project Managers, Customer Experience Stakeholders and In-house Developers effectively to achieve this.
  • Improve our techniques, processes and quality assurance of implemented analytics tracking.
  • Develop scripts and plugins to solve tracking issues as well as maintain implementation and configuration documentation.
  • Work with APIs and help build reporting and visualisation platforms.
  • Participate and provide technical feedback on new / existing vendors and tools used both on clients and in the general market.

Your location and network
Location: Kongens Lyngby, Denmark.

You will join our Data & Analytics team where you will work with colleagues from User Experience, E-commerce, Marketing and Digital, reporting directly to Senior Director, E-commerce, Data and Insights.

You will build relationships with data architects, analytics and insights teams that manage tools and data sets and work closely with partners and agencies of differing analytics expertise.

What you bring
To succeed in this role, you bring 5+ years’ experience working as a technical consultant, data analyst or similar. Furthermore, you have demonstrable experience of the full project life-cycle including phases for analysis, design, build, test and deployment.

Moreover, you bring:

  • Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, confident understanding of web development and its languages including JavaScript, JS libraries (e.g. React), JSON, HTML and CC.
  • Demonstrable experience in e-2-e implementation and governance of Tag Management technologies (Google Tag Manager preferred).
  • Exposure to the wider Google Marketing Platform and leveraging this to deliver business results as well as exposure to other analytics tools and their implementation/integration; Session Cam, Decibel insights, Content Square etc. is a big advantage.
  • Proactive and highly organised mindset with strong time management and planning skills so that you can change direction and work on multiple projects across a wide range of topics.
  • Ability to understand and simplify complex concepts and communicate to non-experts.
  • Involvement in the implementation of test and learn strategies activated through a tag manager solution.
  • University degree in Data Analytics or similar is preferred.
