Meta is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our Data Center Engineering & Construction Team. Our data centers are the foundation upon which our rapidly scaling infrastructure efficiently operates and upon which our innovative services are delivered. Building and operating data centers the "right" way is synonymous with ensuring high uptime, capacity availability and capital conservation. The data center engineering team thinks from chip to chiller (or electrical substation), determining configurations and ensuring maximum efficiency of our compute infrastructure.
Lead Construction Manager Responsibilities
Report to Facebook Geographical Construction Manager, accountable for project and campus success in: Safety, Quality, Schedule Milestones, Forecast Accuracy, GMP Accuracy.
Assume accountability for Infrastructure Construction Management (ICM) Team's culture of partnership, teamwork and growth at the campus.
Represent ICM in the campus Circle of Leadership and partner effectively to become a high performing team.
Manage and develop onsite team of direct report Construction Managers (both Full-time Employees and Contingent Workers) and matrixed reports specializing in Safety, Quality, Project Controls (Cost & Schedule).
Manage the construction, commissioning, and turnover of a Data Center within a campus program.
Assist with providing capital project budgets and provide ROM construction cost estimates along with managing CapEx and OpEx budgets.
Manage the change management process and negotiate best pricing.
Manage the schedule and associated risks to ensure reliable and predictable turnover dates.
Support project contract negotiations (initial and change orders) for General Contractor, trade partner and consultant scopes.
Manage cross functional team for Owner Furnished Equipment procurement and delivery process.
Manage biweekly risk identification review process and provide report (financial, schedule, Q/C).
Manage Knowledge capture and transfer at the program and campus level.
Manage General Contractor relationship at the campus level to include GC personnel development and succession.
Promote and model an attitude of continuous improvement, partnership, and teamwork in behaviors and communications.
Promote and model an attitude of openness to giving, seeking, and receiving 360-degree feedback.
Respond on an as-needed basis to emergencies.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or similar degree.
15+ years experience in construction and project planning.
Experience with ground-up construction and greenfield site development requirements.
Experience in construction management, capital budget management, and knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge of industry standards, building codes and safety standards including fire protection regulations.
Negotiation experience and experience providing solutions to complex problems under pressure.
Experience with MS Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
Overall understanding of building systems including mechanical, electrical, building management system, and fire protection in a data center/mission critical building environment.
Knowledge of CPM scheduling methodologies and familiarity with Primavera P6.
Data center or mission critical building development and construction experience.
Familiarity with retrofit projects in live data center or other mission critical buildings, including development of Methods of Procedure (MOPs).
