Join our team of highly skilled sales associates and to elevate and grow Bang & Olufsen’s key store in SoHo, New York, including our newly openness BeoHome experience.

Your mission
As our new Sales Professional and BeoHome Manager, you will join the established team in our SoHo flagship store. Your mission is to uphold high levels of customer service standards whilst selling the company’s full range of products and services to achieve and exceed individual sales targets.

Additionally, you will be responsible for managing our newly open BeoHome, which is an in-store experience that exemplifies a home filled with integrated technology and demonstrates to Bang & Olufsen’s ability to work as a premium solution provider.

More specifically, you will:

  • Manage our newly opened BeoHome; overseeing the daily operations and VM as well as ensuring a constant flow of activities (Events, Clients, Partners, PR, Training)
  • Handle our B2B partnerships relating to BeoHome and continue to build on the existing partner base
  • Deliver impeccable customer service before, during and after the sale has taken place, creating a good customer rapport and long-term loyalty.
  • Be the expert on all product and sales details, pricing information, brand awareness, brand history, delivery details, and other customer requirements.
  • Understand and practice the processes of solution selling. These techniques and skills are to be continually used to maximise all opportunities for upselling and add-on selling with both new and existing clients.
  • Professional levels of personal presentation with a confident ability to demonstrate showroom products.
  • Ensure professional and knowledgeable management of all customer queries taking responsibility to see the query through to a satisfactory conclusion.
  • Maintain awareness of new product developments, new company initiatives, and all promotional activity.
  • Ensure that the required level of Customer satisfaction is achieved through full use of CRM System
  • Ensure products as directed by the line manager ensuring all promotional materials are in place within the correct timescales.
  • Take part in training and development, to expand your professional skillset and knowledge.
  • Attend site surveys and home demonstrations as required including before and after normal working hours if necessary.

What you bring
We seek someone who can demonstrate an interest for sound, aesthetics, and high-end designer products. Someone with an understanding and appreciation of the product quality, who can convey this to our customers. We are seeking someone who has experience within a luxury or premium goods brand, from a store environment, although the right mindset and enthusiasm for retail are just as relevant. Familiarity with high-end electronics and the Bang & Olufsen brand is a great plus.

Furthermore, you:

  • Are gregarious, outgoing and have the desire to give great customer service.
  • Possess great team spirit and a collaborative attitude.
  • Willingness to go beyond the retail store, meeting and selling to clients in other locations.
  • Can identify customer requirements, meet their needs, and maximize sales, using all the resources available.
  • Enjoy representing a high-end brand, high service level, and comfortable with smart dressing.
  • It is a plus if you are experienced in networking and approaching affluent people, have luxury brand/high-end lifestyle experience, or have solution selling experience.
