We are currently looking for a Commercial Strategy Manager, who wants to be a part of that growth journey by help shaping and refining our business models and other commercial projects. Part of your job would be help shaping our commercial model for our Endoscopy Systems, which are an integral part of our single-use endoscopy solution. Working with our Endoscopy Systems, you will be driving the platform that enables our growth by powering Ambu’s latest imagine capabilities, provide integration to hospital systems, and bring the latest technology to our customers.

You will work alongside the established team within Endoscopy Systems, while collaborating significantly with colleagues in our Sales Territories, Commercial Excellence team and others in defining and developing our commercial offering for the future. Focus is to ensure that we continue expanding the market, while also ensuring that we continue to have profitable business model, as we expand our offerings with more advanced systems, artificial intelligence, etc.

You will join an international team with highly dedicated colleagues. The position as Commercial Strategy Manager is based at Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup, Denmark. Some traveling should be expected as a part of the job.

Position with a huge impact
We are looking for a Commercial Strategy Manager to own and drive the commercial agenda for parts of our portfolio. The role will be driving significant projects focusing on improving our commercial model from understanding our customers better to develop new ways of servicing them. In the role, you will be a strong business partner for the full Global Marketing organization and collaborate with Sales Territories and internal departments such as R&D, RA, QA, Operations and Legal.

As a Commercial Strategy Manager your responsibilities will include:

  • Identifying business opportunities by understanding the needs of customer and stakeholders across our markets and geographies
  • Think broadly across the entire Ambu value proposition through application of value-based healthcare and procurement. Integration of value propositions into commercial and business models to be developed
  • Project management of commercial projects, including developing objectives of the project, drive forward the project with diligent execution and focus on timeline and budget, while ensuring alignment in the organization
  • Collaborate with stakeholders both in HQ and Sales Territories to drive efficient projects.
  • Ability to influence and lead people across the organization
  • Support Global Marketing in driving the commercial agenda in Ambu and assist in improving our commercial model

Key competences
To succeed in this position, you need to have a solid business and commercial understanding, potentially supported by a technical mindset. You should have a solid financial understanding, incl. the ability to work with financial models.

You have experience with project management including working on cross-functional projects, where you need to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders.

You might have worked in an international role before and have experience from the health care industry. Your experience or skillset enables you to learn, evaluate and adapt fast, enabling you to become a trusted partner.

It is natural for you to work and take ownership of a project and other deliverables, while working convincingly with various stakeholders, incl. the ability to set direction and lead teams

You probably hold a degree in healthcare, business, or engineering on a master’s level.

As a person, you have a curious nature, ability to “look ahead” and foresee issues and possibility before they arise, a “can do” attitude and an outgoing personality with excellent cooperation skills. You thrive in an international environment that is characterized by cross-functional teamwork
