The position
Customer Complaints (CC) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Project manager to be the Champion directing the CC project portfolio together with CC management, including projects from low to high risk/complexity/impact.

You will partner with a wide variety of stakeholders within the organization, ranging from affiliates across CC departments to investigators worldwide to deliver critical problem solving and/or decisions.

In addition to leading key projects and initiatives, other key responsibilities will include:

• Managing the CC project portfolio

• Collaborating with CC Stakeholders to plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines

• Leading the project team and managing resources, including coordinating internal and external resources to ensure flawless execution of projects

• Serving as a mentor and guiding figure for less experienced project managers in CC and in Operational and Staff Quality

Furthermore, you will implement project management best practices and methodologies to ensure efficiency and quality in project delivery, fostering an environment that encourages scientific thinking and continuous learning and improvement.

Finally, by analysing business, process, and systems performance, you will identify improvement opportunities and examine the current state to meet high aspirations for the future.

The position is hybrid, and travel days are limited.

Qualifications
You will serve as a catalyst for change, highlighting demonstrated strong skills in change management and a strong drive for continuous improvement. We are seeking someone with a collaborative approach, who enjoys working in cross-functional teams and in an international environment, while also being able to work with high freedom and structure.

To excel in this role, you should:

• Hold a master’s degree in engineering, chemistry, pharmacy, business management, or project management
• Possess several years of proven professional experience in project management and portfolio management

• Have gained experience in a highly regulated industry such as pharmaceuticals, food, or finance

• Demonstrate solid analytical skills and experience in analysing complex business issues

• Be fluent in written and spoken English

On a personal level, you possess leadership competencies, especially in collaboration across boundaries, inspiring and motivating, innovation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, you have strong communication and presentation skills. It would be advantageous if you have experience with LEAN, digital technologies, and a curiosity for innovation.

As a person, you are comfortable proactively taking initiative and have a strong personal drive and dedication with a ‘can-do’ attitude. You are curious about the processes and people you work with and have a strong desire to learn new things, demonstrating attention to detail and a structured approach to problem-solving.

About the department
In CC, we are the ‘voice of the patient’; recording, investigating and responding to customer complaints globally for both marketed and clinical products. We are more than 100 colleagues in Denmark, USA and India and are part of the Novo Nordisk Quality organization.

You will be sitting in a newly established CC Projects team, consisting of project managers responsible for strategic projects and for new product entry. You will be reporting to the Manager of CC Projects, based in Bagsvaerd, and will be working closely with the managers and colleagues across the departments.
