The position
As our new Senior IT/OT Project Manager, you will be joining a dynamic and experienced team called Project & Training. In the team we have a good team spirit and a great cross-functional collaboration. We worship a good sense of humor and an open and respectful mindset.

As Senior IT/OT Project Manager in our department, you will be allocated to support our IT & Automation track. Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Support the IT & Automation track by scoping, clarifying, and aligning deliveries in the work package
  • Develop and track timelines for operational readiness activities
  • Establish the overview of all necessary documentation for transition into operations as well as of support contracts with vendors and service providers.
  • Conduct a comprehensive operational readiness review and address any identified gaps.
  • Present risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth operations.
  • Manage the handover of the systems to operations. Build strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you have:

  • An academic degree within IT, Automation, Engineering or similar.
  • +5 years of experience managing IT/OT projects, preferably in pharma.
  • Strong understanding of IT/OT landscape. (SCADA, MES, ERP.)
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in a technical or specialized area.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage cross-functional projects.
  • Fluent spoken and written English is a prerequisite.

Your leadership skills enable you to exhibit proficiency in problem-solving, making effective decisions, and managing diverse teams. The capability to handle complexity, remain composed under pressure, and demonstrate adaptability are also important qualities for this position.

About the department
Our team is working to expand the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) capacity of our Biotech production in Hillerød. You will become a part of one of the most significant expansion projects in Novo Nordisk – and when finished the facility will employ approximately 340 colleagues. The highly automated facility will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology that is flexible to accommodate new processes and products. It will expand our capacity for our portfolio of clinical late phase products to serve more people living with serious chronic diseases including rare diseases.

You will be joining PS API Expansions. The area is anchored in Novo Nordisk Product Supply, Quality & IT, which globally employ approximately 30,000 of Novo Nordisk’s 64,000 employees.
