We are looking for a driven and commercially minded leader to join our team and help us drive stronger financial results by developing a cohesive commercial strategy which you will lead.

Reporting to and working closely with the Customer Marketing Director Region North and our European NRM team, you will drive both the role and functionality. With the objective of rolling out best practice and repeatable models to deliver on revenue targets and initiatives for our consumer goods markets in the Nordics and Baltics you will be an important contributor to the team.

Location:

Hybrid role where multiple locations are possible; Oslo, Copenhagen, Gothenburg or Helsinki. Please clearly state in your application which of these locations you prefer.

About the Role:

You will utilise market intelligence, analytics, financial data, and scenario planning to develop strategies that influence the key areas of NRM across Price, Promotion, PPA, Mix and Trade Spend Efficiency. You will achieve this by developing close working relationships with cross-functional teams, leveraging existing expertise within the sales, marketing and finance teams to help inform decisions and to track success.

Critical to the success of the role will be your ability to take the lead in change management across the sales, marketing and finance communities to drive a revenue management mindset and ultimately embed the strategies into ‘business as usual’ activity.

What You Will Do:

  • NRM lead will be responsible to drive a 3-year roadmap across categories and NRM pillars in the region.
  • Develop and drive the NRM culture, mindset and capability roadmap for our Consumer Goods business in the Nordics and Baltics
  • NRM lead will secure analytics implementation in region and secure need and voice of the region in the development of new and existing tools.
  • Turn data into actionable insight through project work, reporting, and the annual business planning cycle.
  • Lead the assessment of NRM maturity across the Region. Measure and communicate progress; celebrate and leverage success.
  • Lead our NRM network in Region North and work in close collaboration with our European NRM team.

Who You Are:

  • Extensive leadership experience and competence within FMCG, within analytical, financial, or commercial roles.
  • Proven experience within Net Revenue Management (NRM) / Commercial Strategy / Market Strategy and Planning (MS&P).
  • Good understanding of key NRM concepts including Brand Portfolio Pricing, Price Pack Architecture (PPA), Mix Management, Promotion Strategy and Trade Investment.
  • Organizational skills: a structured ability to manage projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
  • Excited to pioneer new solutions within Essity; driven to deliver organizational behavioral change, through the adoption of new tools and processes amongst and across region.
  • Strong interpersonal and listening skills. Seek and respond to feedback. Be prepared to work collaboratively.
  • Excellent collaboration skills: Experience of working and achieving results in a matrix organization demonstrated ability to collaborate across diverse and international teams.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Ability to travel.
