At Visiopharm, we tackle some of the most exciting machine learning challenges in tissue-based cancer research and diagnostics. Our mission is to ensure that cancer diagnosis outcomes are consistent, no matter where or when a test is conducted. This also applies to early research as better data in research translate to better disease understanding and drugs for patients. We aim to eliminate the risk of patients receiving incorrect treatments due to limitations in tissue-based information, which researchers and doctors rely on for future and immediate life-saving decisions, respectively. Our R&D team is developing high-performance machine learning tools that work intelligently alongside healthcare professionals, at scale.
The Role:
In this position, you’ll combine technical expertise in computer vision, AI and coding to create great products. As a Senior Computer Vision & AI Engineer, you’ll be part of our product-focused R&D team, working in agile groups with experts in data, deep learning, software, UX, and product management. Your role will be pivotal in developing our next generation of AI-based solutions and products. If you are excited by creating state-of-the-art algorithms and bringing machine learning products to end-users in production, we have the perfect role for you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research, development, and implementation of image analysis algorithms for pathology cancer biomarkers, including machine learning and deep learning.
- Software development, mainly in C++, C# from prototyping to production level including testing and validation.
- Participate in internal and external collaborations to design, implement, and launch new features and products.
- Collaborate closely with team members on developing systems from prototyping to production level.
- Work closely with software engineering and computational pathology colleagues.
- Maintain and further develop internal systems for automated building, testing, quality monitoring.
Your Profile and Qualifications:
- You have strong practical experience with computer vision preferably also deep learning-based algorithms and frameworks.
- You have a strong practical experience in software development with C++, C#.
- You have broad technical knowledge, and ability to share this with other developers.
- You are motivated to work with agile cross-disciplinary teams to make you, and your team succeed.
- You are based near Copenhagen and can work from our HQ in Hørsholm.
