What you can expect
- A rewarding position: You will handle all technical service-related support and product training for Futurail systems in Europe.
- Designing the future: You will design and develop PLC logic for automated industrial laundry systems and prepare conceptual designs of new PLC logic/software tools and modules to ensure standardization, supportability, and reusability. Additionally, you’ll interface with vendors and clients to better define the functional requirements for JENSEN-GROUP’s software products.
- Working on nerdy stuff: You will participate in all aspects of the software development process — from prototyping to development and testing, as well as lifecycle planning. You’ll also develop control algorithms for sorting, routines, and resource optimization for use in automated laundry systems.
- Great interactions with colleagues: You will hold project/product review sessions with senior management and colleagues worldwide.
- Become a go-to person: You will act as the technical expert on specific software products and their application within the laundry industry.
- Work hard, play hard: At Inwatec, we develop and produce machines and robots for industrial laundries worldwide. We are a fast-moving company in rapid development, with a creative and dynamic team of dedicated employees. We love our informal work environment, where every idea is taken seriously, and everyone is treated equally. On Fridays, we meet at our bar for an after-work beer, barbecue, or some ping-pong.
What we would like you to bring
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) or higher in Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering preferred.
- Exposure to machine-level software development on a PLC or embedded controls platform.
- Experience developing PLC logic in ladder logic, structured text, or function block diagram.
- Proficiency in MS SQL, database scripting, and MS Windows.
- Experience with Safe-PLC programming.
- Familiarity with virtualization tools (e.g., VMware, VirtualBox).
