Demand Manager for the YouSee Strategic Planning Team
YouSee is seeking a structured and detail-oriented Demand Manager to oversee the demand management process within our organization.

YouSee is in the midst of a full business and IT transformation creating a next-generation telco of tomorrow, supporting the strategies of being truly digital and create great customer experiences. To support this journey, we have several programs and projects already running, and more to come.

As part of our Strategic Planning Team, you will have an essential role in controlling and structuring our demands towards our partners and technological development. You will be instrumental in ensuring our ability to deliver, both on time and on budget, and you will be our lead in ensuring an efficient process and timely execution.

This role will focus on prioritizing our business demands towards our partners, controlling budgets, managing escalation processes, and cultivating strong relationships with stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be skilled in budget management, process-oriented, and be experienced in simplifying complex demands while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Roles & Responsibilities

Among other areas of responsibility, the role will center on the following:

Demand Management

  • Assess and prioritize incoming demands based on business needs, impact, and resource availability.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and prioritized demand pipeline to ensure visibility and alignment across departments.

Budget Control

  • Monitor and manage budgets related to demand initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to analyze demand-related expenditures and provide regular financial reports.

Escalation Processes

  • Establish and manage a structured escalation process for unresolved demands, ensuring timely resolution and communication.
  • Act as a point of contact for escalated issues, facilitating problem-solving and decision-making.

Stakeholder Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization, ensuring alignment and transparency in demand management efforts.
  • Facilitate regular meetings and updates with stakeholders to review demand status, priorities, and resource allocation.

Process Improvement

  • Continuously evaluate and enhance business demand management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and standard operating procedures to streamline business demand management activities.

o Ability to align business demands with organizational goals, ensuring prioritization and resource allocation support the youSee’s strategic objectives.

· Analytical and Financial Acumen

o Trained in budget control, data-driven decision-making, and assessing the financial impact of initiatives to optimize resource efficiency.

· Stakeholder Influence and Collaboration

o Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust, manage expectations, and navigate complex stakeholder environments.

· Process Orientation and Continuous Improvement

o Proficiency in designing, optimizing, and implementing processes to enhance efficiency and ensure consistent delivery.

· Problem-Solving and Resilience

o Skilled in managing escalation processes, resolving conflicts when dealing with obstacles, and maintaining a constructive approach to problems.

Qualifications

  • Relevant degree combined with 3-5 years of experience from similar role.
  • Proficiency in demand management, project and process management, or experience from a similar role
  • Experience in the telco industry is useful, but not a requirement.
  • Financial knowledge with experience in budget management and analysis.
  • Solid experience in tools such as Jira, Power BI , excel, power point is welcome.
  • Solid organizational skills, with a keen attention to detail and a structured approach to work.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a professional approach during busy times.
