Software Engineer

Role and responsibilities:

• Plan, estimate and deliver work alongside the agile development team.
• Design, code, unit test and document as part of the team.

Professional qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, Master's degree or equivalent preferred
• Work experience is an advantage, but not required
• Proficiency in C# and .NET.
• Strong understanding of security principles.
• Experience with Linux.
• A test-driven mindset.
• Familiarity with containers and Docker.
• Knowledge of agile methodologies.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

It’s a plus if you:

• Have experience with agile development processes.
• Are familiar with manual and automated testing.
• Have worked with DevOps and CI/CD.
• Understands fundamentals of Identity and Access Management.

The department and the team:

You’ll be working within our Identity and Access Management domain of our Video Management System, XProtect. We work closely with our product manager to develop domain capabilities. We operate under a product model that empowers the team to convert user needs into valuable outcomes. Our daily work follows agile processes inspired by Scrum, and we are moving towards continuous delivery. We believe in good work life balance which means flexible working hours, 37 working hours divided into both working from home and at the office.
