Technical team leader, Radar systems.

As technical team leader you will be one of our key developers, that collect and refine knowledge and take ownership in design and architecture within your area, as well as being an important sparring partner for your colleagues in and outside the team when the best technical direction shall be set and executed.

You will be working within the Radar Transceiver department with 12 -15 high skilled and dedicated engineers and technicians within electronics, microwave circuits/structures, and mechanical disciplines. The Radar family organization consist of 60+ engaged colleagues within software, system engineering, architecture, electronics, and mechanics.

Your role and responsibilities will cover:

  • Take ownership and responsibility for the technical highspeed analog and digital electronic development.
  • Team leads minor groups and having the holistic overview during executing phase.
  • Lead the translation of customer and stakeholder needs into the right technical solutions.
  • Key member of the Radar Platform Strategy, Roadmaps & Portfolio team.
  • Development within high speed and/or high frequency analog or Digital electronics.

Over all, you will set the technical and strategical direction together with the Director of the Radar Transceivers department.

How to succeed in this position?

Professional:
You have a relevant academic education in engineering, physics, or related technical discipline - or equivalent work experience.

As the ideal candidate you have hands-on experience within most or similar disciplines:

  • You have comprehensive knowledge within in your specific area (examples: Broad Electronic highspeed digital and signal processing knowledge by working and developing Integrated transceivers and analog-front-ends, power supplies, high frequency amplifiers and analog transceiver circuits for GHz areas like the X-band and Ku-band Radars).
  • You are the subject-matter expert with the authority of a frontline manager.
  • You have the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects; adapts processes and standards that may significantly depart from traditional approaches to develop solutions.
  • You will be able to provides measurable input or develops new products, processes, standards or operational plans in support of the business unit strategies.

Personal:

  • You are a teamplayer and will be able to work at a tactical level with direct contribution within the organization. Typically, there is a high degree of stakeholder management and/or high degree of external communication.
  • You are able to understand, guide and drive very highly skilled engineers within technical electronic matters.
  • You have an analytical and systematic approach to problem-solving and the ability to understand and work with complex solutions.
  • And maybe you also like to challenge your colleagues in go-kart Racehall or in shuffleboard/pool during some of our social department events?
