The product

Next-generation data warehouses like Snowflake and Google BigQuery are becoming the standard place to centralize all your data since they have become affordable and highly performant.

Built around modern data warehousing, we provide state-of-the-art data infrastructure that works in a few clicks without data engineering. In that way, Weld enables powerful analytics and workflows that can make a company truly data-driven.

The role

We believe software can feel magical if done right, and we value craftsmanship over quick hacks. You will be part of our engineering team, which currently consists of our CTO, two backend engineers, and two front-end engineers.

You'll build everything from our data pipelines, which move data at scale, to specific integrations, data warehouses, and SaaS applications. We focus heavily on providing an extensible and maintainable generalized framework to speed up the process of building and maintaining our integrations.

We primarily use Typescript on both the front and back end, as well as Node.js on the back end. Our API is GraphQL-based. We host on AWS, and you can expect to contribute across all stack parts. We value independence and people taking ownership of the code. We also provide mentoring and career support and want to see you succeed with us.

We're hoping that you;

have experience with an object-oriented language (preferably Typescript)

know how to build application frameworks and generalizing code structures to increase developer productivity

strive to write simple, maintainable, and understandable code

have experience with or are interested in mentoring other developers

have experience with data engineering is a plus

The team

We are currently a team of 10 people in Europe and our Copenhagen office. As generalists, we have expertise, are always open to new challenges, and offer assistance when needed.

Currently, we seek individuals who are enthusiastic about learning and fearless in taking on end-to-end projects. We are looking for curious individuals who can take on a given problem and solve it. We particularly welcome entrepreneurial minds who thrive in the early stages of a startup.

How we work

We prioritize creating a vibrant, fun, exciting, and challenging culture. Our highly talented and passionate team, who firmly believe in the power of collaboration, makes this possible.

We value ownership and offer significant freedom and responsibility while fostering close teamwork. We are remote-friendly and strive to create the best office and remote experiences. We achieve this through various means, such as organizing social events and gatherings for team camps across the globe.
