About the position
In Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) we are planning to
expand our production facilities in Hillerød, Denmark, to meet the
future needs of our growing product pipeline.
We are looking
for Automation Engineers working in a project team, developing
different IT/OT systems for the future factory.
You will play
a crucial role in the project phase, in designing and reviewing
e.g. FS, DQ, FAT, SAT etc.
You will play a central role after project completion in
maintaining and optimizing our application while ensuring the
stability and support of our production. In this position, you
will primarily work with DeltaV and integrated systems, including
PAS-X, and OSI soft PI Historian vendor-provided equipment. If you
are not familiar with those systems now, you will be trained
during the project phase.

To succeed as a DCS Automation Engineer, we expect that you have:
It is an advantage if you have experience working within production support Preferably knowledge of API in a GMP-regulated environment, experience with validation/qualification, experience with Distributed Control systems and industrial communications, preferred DeltaV, specific knowledge about other system integrated e.g.: MES, Historian, and other interfaces.
On a personal level, you have structured working approach and
high data quality mindset. Whatever your background, it is a
prerequisite that you have a strong desire to achieve process
knowledge and provide the best solutions in close cooperation with
our production. This drives you to be close to the manufacturing
processes and everyday lives of your stakeholders as you are
curious to learn and understand how IT & Automation can help
improve the production processes.
About the department
Our team is part of the BRD Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient
(API) Denmark Area located in Gentofte, Hillerød and Kalundborg.
This is where the active ingredients, going into all our
life-saving biotech products, are made by app. 500 committed
colleagues. We manufacture through complex chemical and
biotechnological processes (this includes cultivation, recovery,
purification, and freeze-drying), which requires a high level of
expertise, commitment, and engagement from our employees.
We
are producing at full speed in existing facilities while building
and ramping up new state-of-the-art additions to keep up with
demand and new Novo Nordisk products. We bring value to patients
by delivering the purest possible high-quality API made in
compliance with GMP. We drive change by always looking for
improvements within our processes, and also in the way we work
together to make our products reach as many patients as possible.
