CFO for international growth company

We’re looking for a CFO for an undisclosed industrial company on a growth path. You will be leading the highly automated finance function with 3-5 staff members, where focus is on sparring with the executive team on business cases and participating in corporate work in the European parent company.

Furthermore, there are good opportunities for personal and professional growth, as you will be the main business partner for the General Manager, focusing on optimizing the operation of the company. Finally, you will be working closely with a strong and highly committed and ambitious leadership team from all functions, i.e. product development, production and logistics, sales & marketing, quality and HR and your own well-performing staff.

The company
has been on a growth path for many years and is a member of a Group with solid financial indicators. Profitability is high and focus is on being the technology leader, which is a position that has been maintained for decades. Operational efficiency is also high and maintained through strong processes, and open and direct communication. The number of employees is in the range 100-200 blue and white collar - and growing.

The role
As CFO, you will lead the finance function, and ensure reliable budgets, forecasts, and reports. You will communicate throughout the company about the financial state of the company, take part in strategic processes and board meetings. You will be the sparring partner on the full running of a manufacturing company, and continuously challenge the status quo with fact-based arguments. On top of this, an important part of the job is to partake in the work in the European head-office, with regular meetings with your HQ references and peers in other subsidiaries either alone or supporting the General Manager.

You
We expect you to have 5+ years of experience as CFO, willing to make a mark both in the operational company as well as in the European head office. You are ambitious and willing to relocate for the job (in Denmark) and potentially be interested in an international career in the parent company. You work in a highly fact-based manner and have a very strong and strategic business acumen and excellent communication skills. Naturally, we expect you to have full command of financial task in a company such as this, a straight-forward personality, and an open leadership style.
