Agreena is looking for a Senior Sales Manager who will support our ongoing commercial efforts specific to our Supply Chain solutions offering. You will be responsible for building customer relationships, and ultimately, driving revenue. You will be engaging with a broad range of clients, including but not limited to, Food & Beverage companies, Banks, NGOs, Water Companies, Governments and Sustainability Consultancies. You will engage with clients as they prioritise where and how to reduce supply chain emissions, and ultimately achieve their sustainability goals.

The Senior Sales Manager will be responsible for creating and executing their strategic sales plans, focus on productivity levels and develop skills with the focus on ensuring they meet their sales and growth targets across all products. The successful candidate must also be focused on enabling team and individual success through creating and maintaining a collaborative, winning team culture and coaching team members to be sales champions. To ensure success, the appointed candidate must be highly motivated, and commercially astute. The ideal candidate has a passion for sustainability and technology and be comfortable with navigating ambiguity and the demands that naturally arise from rapid growth.

The ideal candidate for this role will ideally have sales management experience, entrepreneurial by nature and a wealth of experience as a sales rep. You will have a passion for building and managing client relationships, strategic partnership and sales while delivering strong financial performance.

Ideally you will be comfortable making the journey to London at least 2 days per week to spend time in one of our main offices. However, please enquire as more remote working options can be accommodated. There will also be regular travel to other offices, alongside other trips for Sales Events and Road Shows.

Your responsibilities:

    • Build Coverage Approach
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of client needs and challenges and apply a consultative lead sales approach to solve appropriately aligned with product portfolio
    • Lead the team in taking a proactive approach to territory management and engaging with target clients
    • Ensure you can develop and maintain a robust pipeline of commercial opportunity which will allow achievement of KPIs
    • Develop a comprehensive commercial strategy which enables you to manage an end-to-end sales processes and ultimate executive of agreed client acquisition and revenue targets
    • Be a brand ambassador and represent Agreena’s mission by communicating our story to stakeholders with passion and authenticity

    • Leadership
    • Making sure you are working within best practice perimeters, are colleagues are kept highly motivated with structured feedback, and have clear objectives and development paths
    • Drive high activity levels throughout their commercial processes
    • Use tools like HubSpot to design and maintain reporting metrics and use these metrics to inform productivity improvements within commercial processes
    • Ongoing management reporting to a wider group of stakeholders on risks and opportunities. Pro-actively looking to drive the business forwards with new ideas to innovate sales overall performance
    • Continually identify commercial and product knowledge gaps within the team and facilitate coaching where necessary

Requirements to succeed in the role:

    • 7+ years of consultative sales experience, ideally from within MRV or Supply Chain solution services, or alternatively from a software, consulting or ESG background
    • 2 + line management experience with a consistent track record of overachieving financial targets as a manager and individual contributor (Desirable)
    • Experience in influencing C-level relationships with effective communication
    • Strong sales & business acumen, prioritisation skills, and influencing skills
    • Have a proven record of leadership across business development and account management, and possess excellent business acumen
    • Comfort working in a fast growing and entrepreneurial environment
