R&D Scientist – Fight Cancer by Antibodies

Job Description

Agilent Technologies Denmark is looking for an R&D Scientist to help us in our efforts to fight cancer.

We are hiring an R&D Scientists for a temporary period of 24 Months to join our antibody development team within our Future Assay Technologies department - a part of Pathology R&D in our Diagnostics and Genomics Group.

We need to strengthen our capacity and competences to continuously ensure a high throughput of new  antibodies to meet high marked demands and to identify and implement technology improvements to our antibody design and development processes.

You will join a highly experienced antibody design and development team that sits in the heart of a very versatile department that spans additional specialized competences within, molecular pathology, chemistry, and development of advanced image analysis. We are currently 7 academics and 8 laboratory technicians with the collective goal of securing that our reagents, future instruments, and advanced image analysis will deliver best in class results for health care providers to benefit patients worldwide.

About the job:

Your primary focus area will be to strengthen our capacity within the design and development of novel recombinant antibodies that have the required assay sensitivity, specificity, and overall solution robustness to deliver trusted results in clinic. You will be working closely with two scientists with similar responsibilities. Together with the team, you are expected to secure efficient processes from strategic planning, laboratory work, and documentation processes, troubleshooting, and technology scouting.
