Civil & Process Engineering is a dynamic team of experts in the Energy department, dedicated to advancing sustainable solutions. Our project portfolio includes water infrastructure such as pumping stations, reservoirs, water and wastewater facilities, and climate change adaptations; and energy infrastructure like waste to energy, bio energy, carbon capture, and power-to-x. We experience a strong growth in both areas and are looking to strengthen our expertise with skilled professionals that value high technical standards and quality in their work.

As a Process Engineer, you’ll play a crucial role in designing, optimizing, and implementing energy-related processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct feasibility studies, and drive innovation in the field of energy conversion, carbon capture, and P2X technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Primary focal point for the process discipline in relation to clients and multidiscipline projects.
  • Primary focal point for the process discipline in relation to internal and transnational Sweco resources.
  • Framing and scoping work together with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Process discipline lead, including scheduling, planning, and reporting.
  • Participation in workshops, i.e., HAZID’s, HAZOP’s, LOPA, etc.
  • Participation in generating process documentation including PFD’s, P&ID’s, heat & mass balances, specifications, equipment sizing, line sizing, line lists.
  • Project manager for minor multidisciplinary projects

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in process engineering.
  • Minimum of 5 years process engineering experience in oil & gas or related energy industry.
  • Documented working experience in the process deliverables as outlined above.
  • Knowledge of relevant legislation, standards, and guidelines, e.g., API, PED, ATEX.
  • Knowledge of relevant process calculation software, e.g., HYSYS, UNISIM.
  • Motivated to establish new client and internal working relationships.
  • Driven and self-motivated.
