Your position
In your role as a HSE Advisor, you will be a valuable member of the newly established Consulting Services Department which is set to face tremendous growth in the coming years. Here, you will strengthen our safety and environment efforts for a major energy project for one of our most prominent clients. 

You will play a crucial role in driving a safe and sustainable project execution, and contribute to increased safety and environmental awareness, offering a significant opportunity to make a tangible impact on the project's success. This role will be a unique chance for you to utilize your expertise and experience in a large-scale project environment, while also making a real change for the global energy sector.  

Location: Your workplace will be at one of Semco's offices in either Denmark - Poland - UK. The position is full-time and 30-50 travel days per year offshore and onshore to clients should be expected.

Your tasks & responsibilities

As a HSE Advisor, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and sustainable execution of activities essential to project success.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to: 

  • Performance of human factors activities and production of required documentation, e.g., Function, Task & Workload analysis
  • Reporting of HSE data and other project data on a regular basis
  • Safety Critical Task analyses and identification of Operational Barrier Elements
  • Man-machine interface evaluations.
  • Control room design evaluations (CRIOP analysis)
  • Coordinate the HSE work in close corporation with the client.

Your profile & qualifications
As a person, you enjoy having a lot of responsibility and you thrive in an environment where you have daily communication with many stakeholders. You are driven by completing tasks to the best of your ability and remain in control even in fast-paced situations. You have a safety focused mindset, and never compromise when it comes to safety on the job.  Additionally, you are service-minded and greatly enjoy collaborating with your colleagues.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have: 

  • Experience as a HSE specialist.
  • Ability to plan and facilitate necessary reviews and workshops. 
  • Good communication skills. 
  • Proficiency in English – written and spoken.
  • Relevant master’s or and/or bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Software Skills: Microsoft Products
