Your position 

As a Document Controller, you'll play a vital role in greenfield EPCI (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation) contracts for offshore substation projects. Success in this role hinges on teamwork, professionalism, and dedication to achieving results collaboratively. Experience and proficiency in Document Control, along with familiarity with Document Management Systems (DMS), are highly valued.

Location: Your workplace will be at one of Semco's offices in either Denmark - Poland - UK. The position is full-time, and you can expect to travel 30 days per year.

Your tasks & responsibilities 
You'll be a valuable addition to our team of Document Controllers, supporting our project organization across all phases of project execution from our office located closest to your home address.

Your tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Managing project documentation in our DMS (SharePoint-based system)
  • Submitting project documentation in the Customer's DMS
  • Contributing to the ongoing development of our DMS
  • Ensuring the quality control of documents
  • Providing training to colleagues on our DMS

Your profile & qualifications 
We're looking for individuals passionate about Document Control and Document Management Systems. While educational qualifications aren't mandatory, a strong desire to learn and engage with teams across functions is key.

To succeed in this position, we imagine that you have:

  • At least 2 years of experience as Document Controller.
  • Knowledge with project execution mode (PEM).
  • Proficiency in managing project documentation using Document Management Systems, preferably SharePoint-based systems.
  • Capability to submit project documentation in the Customer's DMS.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to ensuring the quality control of documents.
  • Effective communication skills to nurture long-term relationships with team members and stakeholders.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
