Infrastructure Architect

Join us in this role where you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the infrastructure architecture for a diverse portfolio of IT/OT applications. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing and documenting the infrastructure components for specific products offered to our customers that are mainly hosted in production environments. Your expertise will extend across our Infrastructure product line, guided by the overarching enterprise infrastructure strategies, reference architectures, and topologies that have been approved.

You’ll be part of Architecture & Technology Competency team where you, together with your colleagues, will decide on product infrastructure architecture, technology, and component usage within the boundaries of company strategies, reference architectures, and principles. As a team, we’re involved in building a sustainable green energy company with diverse culture around the globe whilst ensuring great cohesion and collaboration to build a successful Architecture community.

 

You’ll play an important role in:

  • leading the design and documentation of customer facing IT/OT infrastructure products in our infrastructure landscape based on business, application, and non-functional requirements
  • supporting application lifecycle by offering architecture assistance across the entire application lifecycle, enhancing product architecture design within the infrastructure landscape
  • supporting infrastructure delivery issues for operation teams and Infrastructure Delivery Manager in overcoming obstacles to successful deployment
  • identifying and applying architecture patterns, design blueprints, guidelines, and solution diagrams, and communicating to all relevant stakeholders
  • incorporating security and compliance controls in the product design according to our security standards and embracing Shift Left Security thinking
  • preparing for future challenges by contribution in onboarding containers orchestration platforms, GitOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation.

 

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have experience in OT environments and are familiar with VMware products, network zoning concepts, such asISA-95 and Purdue, OT security standards, and IT service management platforms
  • have extensive experience with Infrastructure architecture, solution design, and documentation
  • demonstrate overall knowledge of automation tools and platforms, like container orchestration, GitOps, CI/CD
  • have experience with driving delivery of infrastructure, incl. installations, specification, testing, and service transition
  • have knowledge on Infrastructure technologies, e.g., network, compute, storage, IAM, backup, virtual applications and desktops, and Microsoft Office 365
  • demonstrate goal-oriented mindset with the ability to identify key opportunities for improvement and innovation within the infrastructure domain.
