As a Business Intelligence Developer at MCI, you’ll dive into all facets of business intelligence - from crafting and maintaining data models to presenting insights that drive business value. You’ll be part of our Data and Automation team within MCI IT and our Data Community, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to enhance their data utilization.
In this role, you’ll partner with various departments to understand their needs and deliver valuable data-driven solutions. Your tasks will include:
Developing and maintaining Power BI reports
Creating and updating semantic models
Engaging in data-related project work
Consolidating and interpreting data requirements across the organization
Ideally, you hold a master’s degree in IT, business administration, or a related field. You should have a strong background in data analysis using e.g. Excel and experience in developing and managing Power BI reports. Your analytical skills should be complemented by your ability to convey complex data in a clear and audience-appropriate manner.
We value a proactive approach, a knack for process optimization, and a willingness to challenge colleagues and stakeholders with innovative solutions. Being detail-oriented and structured is key.
At MCI, we are transitioning from a traditional Microsoft BI setup to Microsoft Fabric, which will transform how we report and extract value from data. Experience in this area is highly valued, though not required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are a prerequisite.
The position is based onsite in Tinglev, Southern Denmark.
