Join us at Maersk Container Industry in Tinglev, where you will contribute to the continuous improvement of our prime product: the Star Cool reefer. As a key member of our Lab & Test Center (R&D), you will help us shape the future of sustainable refrigeration technology.
MCI is located in Tinglev, in Southern Denmark, close to Sønderborg, Kolding, and Flensburg. We have strong local roots but operate on a global scale. At MCI, you will experience an informal and supportive atmosphere, working alongside passionate colleagues from diverse backgrounds and cultures. We pride ourselves on creating energy-efficient reefer technology and understanding our role in global trade—all while ensuring a fun, collaborative work environment.
In this role, you will enjoy a high level of independence within a flexible work setting where innovation and quality are top priorities.
You will be our new Test Engineer in a smaller team of dedicated colleagues supporting our R&D department. You will improve and develop thermo test procedures as well as execution of testing in Tinglev and Qingdao.
The focus will be on enhancing the accuracy and reliability of performance tests, while also coordinating and executing improvements in our factory in China.
Furthermore, you will represent the laboratory in specific development projects, ensuring alignment between testing requirements and lab capabilities. This includes developing test specifications, hands-on prototype work, evaluation of test data, and formal test reporting, as well as conducting acceptance tests.
Ideally, you have acquired relevant knowledge in refrigeration and thermodynamics, either through education or practical experience. A proven track record within refrigeration technology is considered an advantage.
