Network Specialist

As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for analyzing and designing new and existing business systems and software applications, performing business process analysis, assisting in the maintenance of existing business software systems, and providing documentation, training, and support for business software applications and impacted stakeholders. 

 

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Perform analysis and design of new business software systems. 
  • Investigate user needs and requirements. 
  • Create system flow charts and documentation. 
  • Design files, reports, and programs. 
  • Develop new programs and modify existing ones. 
  • Document new business applications and procedures. 
  • Document operating procedures related to applications used by NOV. 
  • Develop and administer training programs for stakeholders. 
  • Provide operational and technical support for business applications. 
  • Perform other related tasks as assigned. 
  • Daily operate of our OT-Network (150 switches) 
  • Support switches and wireless access points in your OT (Operational Technology) network 

 

Main Requirements: 

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in network management, system development, and working with Symantec solutions. 
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, with the ability to identify and resolve network issues efficiently. 
  • Fluency in English, both written and verbal. 
  • Proficiency in Danish is highly desirable and considered a strong advantage.
