Senior Research Scientist – Antibody Development

We are hiring a Senior R&D Scientist to support technology expansion and development of new antibody reagents for In Vitro Diagnostic (IVD) devices.

About the job

The job involves optimization of the development workflow for efficiently generating new antibody candidates of various formats.
You will work on implementing high throughput expression systems for developing new antibodies. Introduction of robust and cost-effective processes and small-scale pilot production is also part of the job.

The job requires strong documentation and data management skills as well as experience in cross functional collaboration with stakeholders.

You will be based in our Glostrup, Denmark office working in a dynamic and diverse environment in a team with around 10 colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with a dedicated personality and team spirit as those are the key characteristics to be successful in this position. You should also have:

A PhD degree in molecular biology, biotechnology or equivalent
Experience with cloning, protein expression and purification
Experience with best practice high expression systems in mammalian cells and in microorganisms
Experience with cell analysis by flow cytometry, bioinformatic analyses and interpretation of data
Experience with immunoassays is an advantage
Typically, at least 4+ years relevant experience for entry into this level
