Lead the way in sustainable construction with Biomason

We are now looking for a Technical Manager to take on a key role in overseeing and enhancing production operations at Biomason’s biocement facility in Ikast.
Managing and improving production efficiency
Biomason is at the forefront of developing sustainable alternatives to traditional cement, significantly reducing the carbon footprint of construction materials. As a Technical Manager you will plan and orchestrate the daily production in collaboration with the process team, implement process improvements, and ensure that production systems run efficiently to meet the company’s ambitious goals. With input from the technical team, you will develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to prevent downtime and maintain optimal equipment performance. You will also ensure that products meet Biomason’s strict quality standards by monitoring production processes and addressing issues, along with proposing solutions. Finally, you shall also be able to handle, assist and oversee technical project installations.
In direct report to the VP of Operations, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of biocement production by integrating innovative technologies and contributing to the scaling of production capacity and quality as Biomason expands its global footprints. Your key responsibilities will be:
Technical leadership and solid background within maintenance
The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in a technical leadership role, preferably within manufacturing or industrial production. You should have a proven ability to optimize production processes, manage maintenance, and ensure quality control. Strong problem-solving skills and experience leading cross-functional teams are essential. You have strong analytical skills and think strategically, with the ability to gain support and create buy-in within the organization. You are flexible, passionate, hands-on, and clearly thrive in an entrepreneurial environment where you are building something new. Your persistent approach, high drive, and focus on goals and results give you a natural influence, leading by example and showing the way forward. Fluency in both Danish and English is required, and a passion for sustainability, along with a commitment to reducing the environmental impact of the construction industry, will be a great advantage in succeeding in this role.
