Graduate passionate about electrical and IT engineering

Do you want to boost your transition from being a talented student to becoming a high-performing engineer within Europe's fastest growing energy company?

Accelerate your career as an Electrical Engineering Graduate in the Electrical & SCADA department, learn from experts within your field and face a steep learning curve from day one.

We offer you an intense two-year development journey with a mentor to guide you on your way. You'll get international project knowledge, tools to drive innovation, insight into the renewables industry and a strong cross-functional network. You'll be in charge of your own tasks and projects, and you'll get to apply your knowledge and expertise to influence decisions.

In your first rotation, you'll be part of the Electrical & SCADA department which is responsible for the integrity of all the electrical components and HW/SW at our offshore wind farms across the UK, Germany, and Denmark. In particular, the SCADA team is responsible for the wind turbine and offshore substation SCADA systems, handling of technical issues on these and creating the right level of security against cyber-attacks.

Your key tasks will be to

  • participate in evaluations of cyber security initiatives and the implementations of the prioritised actions
  • handle technical integrity issues on the offshore network or the SCADA systems that control the wind turbines or the offshore substation
  • strengthen the interface between the SCADA department and the technicians and engineers working with the systems on the sites in the UK and Germany by maintaining a common task overview for all parties and improving work processes.

Your competences include that you

  • graduate before 1 September 2018 with a master's degree in electrical or SW engineering or a relevant master's degree in IT and have delivered excellent results.
  • have had lessons within SW engineering or HV engineering and are interested in SCADA systems
  • have had a relevant student job and/or been engaged in volunteer work
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks and possess the drive to implement solutions in a challenging environment
  • are able to handle several tasks simultaneously and thrive in a changeable environment
  • speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently.

In short: If you have high learning agility, strong analytical skills and a collaborative mindset with an eagerness to explore and pursue new possibilities in an international environment, please apply.
