Engineering Graduate to handle technical project management

In your first rotation, you'll be part of the Offshore Substation Electrical Engineering Management department which is responsible for electrical installations, electrical design, integration management and commissioning management for offshore substations. Here, you'll have the responsibility of integrating HV and LV equipment, including SCADA, on one of our offshore substations. You'll take on a scope manager role and learn the disciplines within technical project management.

Your key tasks will be to

    • assist with the low-voltage layout and electrical design within the substation scope, including integration of MV/HV/SCADA equipment
    • assist with processes for handling technical risks, interfaces and changes within the electrical scope and work with external parties, e.g. engineering and fabrication contractors
    • build an understanding of project work related to electrical project management, i.e. focus on the technical part of our contracts, team management, and system delivery, thereby working with the ten PMI areas in project management
    • support the Commissioning Manager with the installation schedule, supervision and commissioning of an offshore substation, participating in administrative tasks and practical work with testing equipment.

Your competences include that you

In addition, you'll work with the electrical scope in connection with engineering, fabrication and construction of offshore and onshore substations. Thereby, you'll get detailed knowledge of how Substations and Electrical Systems contribute to designing, developing and constructing offshore and onshore substations. Also, you'll follow up on projects and prepare tender documents and contract agreements

  • graduate before 1 September 2018 with a master’s degree in electrical power engineering and have delivered excellent results
  • speak and write English fluently, enabling you to communicate efficiently
  • have a maximum of 12 months of relevant professional experience with electrical power engineering
  • have a proactive and systematic approach to your work tasks.

Additional information
For the first rotation, you'll be based in either Gentofte or Skærbæk, depending on your wish. During the programme, it's possible to be based outside Denmark.

For your second and third rotations, you could potentially work in our Offshore Transformers & HV Component department where you would act as scope manager. You could also be part of the Electrical Installation & Commissioning department with the responsibility for supervision and commissioning of substations – tasks that require you to be present on site.
