You will be part of an IT department with agile teams that is building customer products that requires deliveries from different units in our organisation and from external parties.

You’re expected to develop your talent and aim higher as you work to change payments. You’ll build on our proven track record of developing and delivering innovative and reliable solutions and our strengths as a Nordic leader with 50 years of experience within payment solutions.

Your key responsibilities are …

  • You will be part of an agile team in our IT department and work according to our agile processes and SDLC.
  • Participate in design, development, code review, and QA activities in the development process of Java server-side applications
  • Participate in estimation and planning of product releases and backlog items
  • Participate in clarification of requirement specifications
  • Update and maintain relevant development documentation such as system documentation, functional and technical handbooks and interface descriptions
  • Participate in establishing and maintaining development tools and processes as described in the systems development life cycle (SDLC)
  • Collaborate across teams in IT and the business as required to remove impediments and deliver on time for all Sprints.
  • Carry out 3rd line support such as issue handling and clarification
  • Solve incidents by root cause analysis, clarification and investigation in both the development system, test and production environment

Your professional qualifications include:

  • You hold relevant higher education degree
  • You have minimum 3 years of relevant experience with Java development
  • You have experience with agile development processes (E.g. Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with data-intensive applications, solutions with high availability requirements
  • Strong and proven experience with complex Java development of server-side applications and programming
  • Relational database experience, preferred Oracle
  • Test driven development (unit test, mocks, integration test), test automation
  • Micro services and containers
  • Favourable with knowledge about technologies like Docker, Spring Boot, Angular, and Maven
  • Spring application framework / Inversion of Control / Spring Boot
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

We expect experience with some of below mentioned:

  • Java server-side development
  • Spring application framework / Inversion of Control / Spring Boot
  • Container based environments, e.g. OpenShift, Docker or similar
  • HTTP, integration via interfaces in XML/XSD/REST/ASN.1/JSON
  • JPA/Hibernate, transaction management, JMX
  • Messaging / JMS / AMQP
  • Relational database experience, preferred Oracle
  • Test driven development (unit test, mocks, integration test), test automation
  • Version control and build management - Git/Gerrit/Jenkins
