In this role, you will be part of a global team developing electronic products and solutions for use in Food Retail, Air Conditioning, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration. You will contribute to digitalization in all phases of development including requirement capturing, specification development, design, software development and validation/verification. Responsibilities will likely also include development and integrating electronic components into complete control systems.

Software development with focus on quality and customers
Your primary responsibility will be to design, maintain and improve sub-systems and modules and implement them using C/C+, C#, HTML5 and JS. To this end, you will cooperate closely with your colleagues in designated teams, ensuring that applications and/or systems meet standards and customer requirements. More specifically, you will:

  • Specify the tasks based on the customer’s requirements.
  • Implement algorithms that support the given application.
  • Perform debugging at application and hardware/software level.
  • Ensure a high level of quality in the products.

Software engineer, computer scientist or similar
As a minimum you hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering with a strong computer science component. A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering will be considered a plus. Furthermore, you have or can:

  • Experience with programming using C/C++ and C#.
  • Experience in HTML and JS development, even privately or in open source projects.
  • Knowledge of Agile SCRUM process.
  • Experience with system level design for and implementation of a commercial software application.
  • A customer service-oriented mind-set.
  • Manage your work by yourself or as a team member.

Additional experience that is a plus

  • Knowledge of communication bus (Modbus, CANbus).
  • Knowledge of Bluetooth and BLE.
  • Experience with LabView and/or other IEC-61131 programming languages.
  • Mobile app development.
  • Web development (HTML5, JS, PHP).
  • Linux development.
  • System architecture design.

Moreover, you have solid analytical abilities, good communication skills and a positive and open mind. You have a strong team spirit and can build relations and cooperate across borders and cultures. For this, you must also be fluent in both spoken and written English.
