Technician

To strengthen the Assay Development department in Martinsried / Munich, we are searching for a qualified Technician (f/m/d).

Your Tasks

  • Development, optimization, characterization and validation of various analytical methods compliant to international guidelines, e.g. to investigate vaccine-specific humoral and cell-mediated immune response by ELISA, Luminex, neutralizing assay by flow cytometry, ELISpot and others
  • Standard cell culture techniques for permanent cell lines and primary cells including establishment and maintenance of master and working cell banks
  • Method transfer and training of colleagues in analytical procedures
  • Preparation and reporting of results to the responsible supervisor and team
  • Preparation of technical documents like SOPs
  • Maintenance of laboratory devices

Your Profile

  • Biological laboratory assistant or technician qualifications e.g. MTA, BTA, CTA, PTA, or equivalent
  • Experience in ELISA and cell-based, immunological analytical methods including standard cell culture techniques
  • Preferably experience in virology/immunology
  • Great willingness to work in a team
  • Good experience in MS-office
  • Good English communication skills
  • Developed understanding and application skills of modern IT and bio/immuno-laboratory devices
