The banking industry is undergoing a period of dynamic change with Transaction Banking at the heart of the digital, instant and open revolution. We are looking for a Strategy Manager to join us to formulate and execute the 2021 strategy for Nordea’s Transaction Banking (TxB) division. The TxB Strategy & Commercial Intelligence team works with highly complex and strategically important tasks and are the key designers of the overall Transaction Banking strategy. The team is placed within TxB Commercial Excellence, which defines the commercial agenda for Nordea Transaction Banking, from strategy to execution.

We are looking for a Strategy Manager that are business minded, an analytical team player that enjoys high pace and being in the forefront of developing Nordea. This is an opportunity for you to be part of a team of professionals developing and forming the future TxB!

Your future responsibilities
As a Strategy Manager you will face an array of strategic assignments critical for the running of the business, now and in the future. You will be responsible for commissioning targeted qualitative and quantitative research to uncover vital insights that will guide decision making for the whole of TxB. These insights are critical for both our sales teams through commercial analytics and lead generation and defining the strategic direction of TxB.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Analyse, design and implement strategically important initiatives helping us to create extraordinary customer experiences
  • Take responsibility for strategy development, execution and implementation
  • Innovation through thought leadership – explore and define emerging business models
  • Ad hoc related initiatives to support business development

Your profile and background:

  • You are a social, curious and pragmatic team player
  • You are business minded, analytical and have excellent communication skills in English (both written and spoken)
  • You have a strong track record from Consulting, Financial services, Tech, FinTech or high growth businesses
  • Interest in data analytics with experience in SQL, Alteryx and business intelligence tools (Qlik Sense and/or Power BI) is a preference
  • You have a Master’s degree in Business, Engineering or similar from a leading university
