Senior Quantitative Analyst, Copenhagen

We are looking for a Senior Quantitative Analyst / IT Developer to enhance our e-Trading offering within Markets Fixed Income and Rates. This is an opportunity for you to help shape future decision making within a highly competitive and dynamic market.

In today’s world, change is the one thing you can count on. But whatever the future brings, our customers remain at the heart of everything we do.

That’s where you come in. Working with dedicated colleagues in an exciting, fast-paced environment, you’ll help meet our customers’ changing needs.

We aim to be courageous and explorative in our approach to innovating better ways of delivering banking services – anytime, anywhere. This means you’ll have many opportunities to learn and grow as you build your career with us. Will you help us lead the way in creating great customer experiences?

Your future responsibilities
You’ll join e-Rates, where we cover a wide range of responsibilities within the field of electronic rates and derivatives trading. Amongst these are market connectivity, execution algorithms, intelligent pricing and risk management – and the data gathering and quantitative analysis to support it all.

We are on a journey to automate trading as much as possible, wherever it makes sense.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Carry out ongoing as well as ad-hoc data-driven analysis in several areas within our Rates franchise
  • Collaborate closely with members from both Sales and Trading teams to define relevant analysis and take part in discussions of the results
  • Design, implement and monitor low latency trading algorithms based on data analysis findings
  • Propose and implement intelligent pricing algorithms, using big data and machine learning
  • Integrate your algorithms with our existing e-trading platform
  • Collaborate with and mentor junior quantitative analysts and developers in the team

The role is based in Copenhagen. Welcome to a team of high performing individuals with the ability to influence many aspects of our business, and who are offered several potential development routes in their future.

Who you are
Collaboration. Ownership. Passion. Courage. These are the four key values that guide us in being at our best. We imagine that you enjoy learning and are excited about bringing your ideas to the table. You’re dependable, willing to speak up – even when it’s difficult – and committed to empowering others.

Your wide range of skills allow you to operate as a quantitative analyst when dealing with data and designing algorithms – and as a proficient software developer when implementing your algorithms.

Your profile and background:

  • Master’s degree in physics, math, engineering or similar.
  • A strong grasp of math, particularly statistics, probability and time series analysis.
  • Preferably experience with machine learning.
  • Professional experience within software development including OOP and data handling.
  • Experience with Python or similar programming languages.
  • Experience from investment banking or a similar business area, however this is not a requirement
