Data Analyst in People & Organization

People analytics play a growing role in Milestone and we are looking for a sharp Data Analyst to join the People & Organizations´ team at our Brøndby site. The role is part of the Payroll & Admin team consisting of a payroll specialist and a student who report to the Payroll and Admin Manager. In People & Organization, further team members are five HR Business Partners, a Recruitment Specialist as well as a Talent Sourcer at the Brøndby site who report to the VP of People & Organization.

As Data Analyst you will play a key role in handling, reviewing and managing people analytics data in Milestone. The overall purpose of the role is to ensure a high quality of people analytics data and availability in order to support optimized workflows and data processes. Enabling data driven business decisions on the people side has high priority in Milestone.

The Data Analyst is responsible for performing human resource data driven work and provide analysis of various HR programs, systems and initiatives. Furthermore, you manage, maintain and optimize various reporting platforms (the HR system, OCO, Foxtrot, Officevibe and our Power Bi).

The role demands a deep understanding of our different P&O data systems such as myHR, our Onboarding/change/offboarding (OCO) and HR Manager as well as a great understanding of how our systems are connected, linked and interacting with systems in our organizational unit called Business Support. Understanding how data flow and work processes for people in Business Support are impacted is also an important task. Business Support includes the global organizations of People & Organization, legal and Group Finance.

Based on this understanding, the Data Analyst´s is to design and optimize P&O´s way of handling data.

As people data often start with P&O, it is essential to take the responsibility to optimize structure and data flow by aligning expectations and seek a common approach across business units.

You will

  • Provide an increasing level of analytics to support the P&O Business Partners in their fact-based support towards their businesses
  • Take the lead in providing analytics and fact-based understanding of our key people processes such as performance management, recruitment, retention and attrition, salary review and incentives and development plans
  • Provide relevant data, interpretation and presentations for Milestones QBR (Quarterly Business Reviews) and other relevant statistics such as attrition rates, recruitment statistics and completion rates for our onboarding and leadership training
  • Propose new ways of working and maintaining data in P&O building on understanding and collaboration with regions, payroll admin and student
  • Be contact person to Lanteria (our HR systems´ vendor and developer)
  • Development, optimization and maintenance of robotics software
  • Be process owner of dash boards; Power Bi and Officevibe (creation, development, analysis, data validation and maintenance)
  • Work with Robotics and descriptions, Foxtrot
  • Be systems expert of HR system (myHR) (development, analysis, data validation/control, organizational changes, maintenance and reporting). Creating workflows to system configuration for day- to-day activities
  • Do ad-hoc data projects and reporting
  • Assist in rollout and implementation of HR programs if HR metrics related
  • All in all, you will participate in analyzing, defining and implementing P&Os future system and data flow needs, such as pilot and future need of robotics and/or new applications.

Your background

  • Masters degree in Finance or similar
  • A number crunching expert
  • Logical mindset that yields an understanding of process flows
  • Robust business analysis skills (maintaining data accuracy)
  • Excel master (pivot tables and lookups) and confidence in using modern Power BI tools
  • Min. 3 years of experience working in a technology company or similarly fast-paced professional environment is a must
