Student Assistant – Global Key Account Management

Here is the chance to join Hempel’s Global Key Accounts team as Business Support student. In this position, you will work in a truly international environment with people in sales, customer service and finance from all over the world assisting us in tracking our indirect sales towards our GKAs through their subcontractors.

This is a truly unique opportunity to get experience from an international commercial department, that service our biggest and most important customers.

In this role you can expect to work in the range of 20 hours pr. week.

Be close to the commercial business, and our industry-leading customers
As our GKAM organisation support our biggest and most important clients, you will be part of team that truly drives our commercial operations, and your help is needed to keep an overview of the sales, accounts and business deals that is made on a global level.

This role is critical to our commercial operations, and can expect responsibilities such as:

  • Maintaining active contact with the GKA teams in order to track on time and in detail all direct and indirect sales towards our GKAs.
  • Initiating contact when needed and follow up with CS Departments globally in order to ensure proactive order tracking in connection with the GKAs.
  • Driving the works to connect past orders with the corresponding GKAs in Hempel’s ERP system.
  • Contributing in the evaluation of the data accuracy as presented in the business performance dashboards of the company.

In addition to this, we expect that you:

  • Are studying on Bachelor or Master level in Business Administration, Digital Business, Accounting or similar with min. 12 months to graduation.
  • Have experience within the fields of sales data resulting from various sources including orders and invoices.
  • Are a skilled user and/or keen on learning and mastering IT tools relating to business.
  • Are comfortable working in detail with various types of business data.
  • Have a structured approach with a good level of analytical mind and practical sense.
  • Are result-oriented, a good communicator across cultures and reporting lines.
  • Are fluent in English both written and verbal.

Be at the forefront our global business
This is your chance to learn about how an international business environment runs, and have daily talks with our GKAMs, who are the drivers of growth for our biggest clients. You will be at the center of this, and be asked to keep track of all the business data generated from this, and report to our Global Key Account Director, as part of our Group Commercial organisation.
