Application Support Analyst
As an Application Support Analyst you will provide international technical support for our enterprise applications and SaaS deployment clients as part of our ‘follow the sun’ support model. You will have 35 colleagues in PCSYS in Glostrup, but will be part of the Tecsys Customer Care team in Canada. The first few months of your employment will be spent with Tecsys in Montreal, Canada, where you will receive training and get to know your Canadian colleagues. Afterwards you will return to PCSYS in Denmark to provide Support, Cloud and DevOps services to the Tecsys customers. The support will be handled in English over phone and mail, so a high level of written and spoken English is required.

The Canadian team consists of Cloud & Managed Services administrators, as well as Application specialists/developers. You will be involved in triaging and resolving a variety of alerts and technical issues coming from our large global customer base. Working in a friendly and supportive environment, you will contribute greatly by analyzing and interpreting data, identifying issues and trends and providing resolutions.

The ideal candidate will have experience with C# and/or Java, is highly customer focused, and is a self-starter. This position is geared towards candidates with a minimum of 5 years of experience and with a desire to contribute in an innovative technology environment.

Specific Responsibilities:
– Support of Enterprise applications
– Support of Cloud infrastructure
– Monitor system health (application/Cloud) to ensure maximum availability of the solution
– Triage application, security and system alerts
– Adhere to incident and problem management procedures
– Respond to calls from the support queue and other communications
– Follow up with customers regarding additional info and testing statuses
– Monitor, progress, and resolve incidents
– Ensure customer satisfaction through proactive updates, frequent contact and, where necessary, escalation
– Provide technical solutions within Service Level Agreements
– Identify application issues and work with R&D to resolve
– Work as an escalation liaison between the customer and R&D
– Perform code optimization and deliver code changes and fixes
– Adhere to and enforce Change Management Processes
– Develop and maintain strong technical expertise on all Tecsys products
– Occasional on-site travel

Skills and Knowledge:
– Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a related area (Technical Service/Support, DevOps, Development/R&D)
– Experience with Java or C#
– Experience with Windows and Linux (RHEL) operating systems is an asset
– Accounting, general business practices or warehouse management knowledge is an asset
– Strong team player
– Strong interpersonal and communication skills
– Fluent spoken and written English skills
– Highly customer focused
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Proactive and self-motivated
