Experienced IT Coordinator for Group IT Service Excellence

SimCorp Group IT is looking for an experienced IT Coordinator, who believe that delivering Excellent IT Service requires tight coordination and collaboration. Location: Copenhagen You will get the possibility to play a key role in supporting and executing on IT demands and delivering a unique IT Experience for SimCorp.

The position
The IT Coordinator is a central anchor in IT Service Excellence department, and function as the central point of coordination and follow-up in many of our daily activities, primarily centered around our support and user services. You play a key role in keeping the global IT Service and Support running from behind the scenes and support your colleagues in delivering excellent IT Service & Support to SimCorp.

The IT Service Excellence Department is the Global Front-End into IT and we are determined to deliver an excellent IT Experience to SimCorp employees. It is our aim and goal to align human, digital and physical resources to deliver digital wellbeing and value driven service. This is achieved through global coordination within IT and in cooperation with Business Units, HR, Procurement, Finance and Facility.

We are looking for a person, who thrives in a busy and exciting work environment, who is responsible for IT coordination, administrative and vendor related activities primarily around IT Support activities. The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience, preferable within an IT department, where you have been working closely with IT technicians or you may have a technical background. You have a sense for keeping focus on the detail, have strong coordination skills and the ability to communicate easily with colleagues, IT users and vendors.

In Group IT we are 60 employees, responsible for delivering, installing, maintaining and supporting SimCorps internal IT infrastructure, platforms and business applications. In the IT Service Excellence department we are 21 colleagues split into in 3 teams, placed in 9 SimCorp offices around the world. You will therefore have a close cooperation with colleagues working in another office or time zone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing small projects and coordination tasks from initiation to closure
  • User communication and follow-up. Specific and individual User coordination and communication, around IT equipment, deployments, SW licensing or similar
  • Knowledge Management & Self Service. Maintaining our user-portals and documentation with focus on our self-service options
  • Coordinate IT user equipment purchases and provide information for budget support
  • Handling user and vendor administration of home broadband and mobile phones in Denmark
  • HW Asset management and reporting. Ensuring 100% accuracy in HW assets globally in cooperation with local Service Desk

Your qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience from a similar position, preferably within an international IT company
  • Experienced in managing small IT projects and coordination tasks, in cooperation with technical teams
  • Experience in communicating to IT users both on an individual and a broad scale
  • Strong collaboration, teamwork and relationship building skills across multiple levels and functions
  • Experience in Hardware or software asset management is an advantage
  • Vendor administration and management on a day to day basis and internal budget support
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English
  • ITIL certification is an advantage

  • Humble with good sense of humor
