You will be part of Group Wide Processes – HR IT in Group IT located in Glostrup. We are responsible for the systems supporting the portfolio of HR systems (e.g. payroll, systems for recruitment, performance, talent management, HR master data and identity and access management). The systems are a mix of third-party IT service providers, internally developed solutions and soon a HCM platform where main HR processes are covered.

In HR IT we are 50 employees and you can expect an international environment with employees working in Denmark and Bangalore, India.

Lead a team
You will be leading the team of ambitious and skilled Business Analysts, Software Engineers, IT student assistants and Software architects that appreciate cross-border and cross-culture collaboration. You will focus on employee experience in close collaboration with the business stakeholders.

The team solves everything from smaller tasks, sub-deliveries to projects. Deliveries cover for example development of new functionality, implementing of new third-party IT services, changes to existing systems and processes with continuous improvements. You will play an important role in defining the roadmap and future architecture of our system portfolio.

Agility is a big part of our IT strategy – so you will be a good match if you have experience using agile principles of working.

A proactive Development Manager with proven tech skills
You most likely have a university level degree. You have been working within a relevant field for 5-8 years and have proven leadership skills and experience in leading a high performing team. You empower and motivate team members to define and meet team goals and objectives.

You are the kind of person that takes initiative. You are proactive and take responsibility. You have good communication skills and you are good at creating strong stakeholder relationships. You are inclusive towards the team members and stakeholders across the organisation. You have proven coordination skills and you appreciate structure.

You also have a curious mindset and a natural interest in following the latest trends and technologies. You have a broad knowledge of technologies and best practice involving 3rd party solutions including SaaS, preferable HCM platforms and payroll solutions. You demonstrates analytical thinking and catch the essence of complex problems, requirements and questions. You understand and value the importance of strong employee journeys and you want to ensure that the IT development in Danske Bank supports these.
