Software Development Copenhagen, Denmark

We’re a small team in a larger organization, driving the adoption of container technologies and specifically Kubernetes. We manage and operate Kubernetes, and work to add additional functionality on top of it.

By joining our team, you will be part of building and operating our Kubernetes clusters, as well as experimenting with the hottest new technologies and open-source projects. Because of our size, and organization, you will have plenty of influence on which things to build next, and the freedom to build them in the way that you and the team see fit, while having a lot of fun doing so.

We have a rather informal and casual working atmosphere, including the collaboration with other teams in the organization.

We're looking for engineers to join our Infrastructure team. We're inspired by "The SRE Way" and as such we are focused on the reliability and scalability of the systems that we build. We provide service hosting and CI/CD, among other things. We like to automate tasks and try out new technologies regularly. Currently we plan on introducing Istio and Vault on top of Kubernetes in the not-so-distant future, but you can be part of that decision.

Here’s what you’ll do and what you’ll need to do it.

  • Architect, build, and operate modern software infrastructure such as Kubernetes clusters on-premises and in the AWS public cloud.
  • Introduce new technologies on top of Kubernetes to sweeten our offering.
  • Champion SRE principles in the organization and help shape the future of the company.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD solutions.
  • Collaborate with product feature teams to ensure that their services run well on our infrastructure.

What We Require of You

  • A computer science or (software) engineering university-level degree, or equivalent practical experience.
  • You are a team player.
  • Interest in designing, analyzing and troubleshooting scalable distributed systems.
  • Systematic problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive.
  • Ability to debug and optimize code and automate routine tasks (by writing maintainable code).
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.

What We'll Love About You

  • Experience with containers (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of microservice infrastructure.
  • A passion for open-source software.
  • The drive to automate all the things we don’t want to do manually.
  • Experience with AWS (EC2, Route 53, S3, Direct Connect, VPC, IAM, RDS, Certificate Manager, SQS).
  • Experience with unified logging.
  • Experience with monitoring, dashboarding and alerting.
  • Experience with modern CI/CD solutions.
  • Experience with web technologies and networking protocols.
  • Experience with database systems – relational and non-SQL such as Postgres and MongoDB.

The Infrastructure Toolbox

  • Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Kustomize, Prometheus, Grafana
  • Python, Rust, Go, Bash, AWS, Datadog, Elasticsearch
  • Jenkins, Blackduck, HAProxy, Github, YAML and Linux just to name a few technologies that we use regularly.
