Job profile:
To further develop our Shared Service Centre, we are looking for a Banks & AR Team Leader who will be managing a mixed team of experienced and young accountants in a fast paced business, ensuring a seamless and efficient Banks & AR processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Managing a team of Accountants to ensure day to day operational team duties are processed in a timely manner, with the highest quality and according to company policy, SSC procedures and accounting rules
  • Working close with Managers across the business, supporting the organization with professional accounting, ensuring that service levels meet the requirements
  • Mentoring, coaching and motivating team members, supporting workplace learning and initiating opportunities for skills development; performance review with employees
  • Setting priorities and plan workload to meet deadlines and achieve the objectives of the department
  • Assisting in the development and maintenance of the Accounting Manuals, SOPs and associated procedures
  • Assisting in system testing for upgrades and future improvements

Qualifications and skills:

  • University degree in Accounting & Finance
  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in Accounting
  • Ability to lead and inspire the team toward higher level of performance
  • Good and socially commited team player
  • Very good command of English language
  • Knowledge of other languages is beneficial
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point, Excel)
  • Good understanding of continuous improvement process and problem solving approach
  • Good communication and exceptional organizational skills
  • Ability to work under time pressure and stress resistance
