Digital learning plays a key role in both our strategy and our international programs as a means of finding innovative and agile ways of engaging with and building the capacity of young people around the world to network, organize and take action. Equally, digital learning is centrally placed in our blended learning approach, where it is expected to connect with other core learning interventions, such as face-to-face trainings and on-the-job training through volunteers and professionals. 


The Team

The Learning and Capacity Development Team delivers specific capacity development interventions, such as digital learning and face-to-face and online volunteering, but also facilitates learning across countries and knowledge sharing. While the position is placed within the learning and Capacity development team, most of the work is anchored in projects that cut across the different teams in the international department of AA Denmark. 


This is where you come in.


The job

You will lead, facilitate, advise on and design various digital learning processes and products that support a blended learning approach.

Your work will primarily revolve around

Product management

  • Effectively lead and manage delivery of inspiring digital learning products.
  • Facilitate learning design processes together with end-users, and internal stakeholders with other professions than digital learning tools.
  • Steer the digital learning solutions development in relation to a community of interest for young activists in the ActionAid federation
  • Seek out and implement new digital learning knowledge in to future digital solutions


Support and quality assurance

  • Advise colleagues on digital learning solutions and knowledge management
  • Advise on blended and non-blended digital learning solutions
  • Being a key explorer and contributor to our learning innovation agenda


Oversight and Management of digital solutions

  • Continuous development and evaluation of the team’s digital solutions
  • Manage service providers and ensure effective digital platform management including leading decision making on changing platforms, services etc.


Our New Colleague

We expect that you:

  • Have experience and interest in driving a digital learning project from A-Z in an organisation with many other professions and focusses.
  • Are motivated by being the digital learning go-to person, and as such are expected to have up-to-date knowledge and knowhow.
  • Are capable of prototyping learning products and processes.


To be successful in this job you

  • Have an interest and experience in working with youth, democracy and equality, and working with the digital reality of developing countries.
  • Have a relevant education—or you might have a different background but are a digital learning aficionado with the toolkit and experience to prove it.
  • Are proficient in English - Danish proficiency being a benefit


We offer you

A full time (37 hours/week), 8-years’ fixed-term appointment with flexible working hours, so that a healthy balance between private- family- and worklife is possible.?? 

The position is in Copenhagen, Denmark (no relocation allowance available).

A comprehensive compensation package where salary and employment conditions are in accordance with the agreement between AADK and the AC organizations.

Interviews are expected to be conducted August 21st  (please note, invitations will be sent out afternoon 19th) with a possible second interview August 27th, with a practical test between the two interviews.

Start date October 1st, 2019 or earlier.
